Manchester BOE approves year-end financials

NEW FRANKLIN — The Manchester Local Schools Board of Education approved year-end transfers, final expenditures for fiscal year 2022 and the temporary appropriations for fiscal year 2023 during the June 30 meeting. The board also approved an increase in breakfast prices to $2 and an increase to $3 for lunch at Nolley Elementary School and $3.25 for lunch at Manchester Middle and Manchester High schools.
In other business, the board approved:
• an agreement with Greenleaf Family Center for counseling services for the 2022-23 school year;
• accepting the Savvas Learning Co. LLC Miller Levine biology curriculum and the McGraw Hill algebra and geometry curriculum; and
• accepting a $560 donation from Tom and Lisa Beans for boys basketball and $150 from Joe Harp to the Bobby Eckert Scholarship.
The next Manchester board meeting is scheduled for July 28 at 5 p.m. at the Administration Building, located at 6075 Manchester Road.
